Teachers Doing Real Science in the Real World Wins National Award

Aurora Trophy       Teachers Doing Real Science in the Real World is a documentary that spotlights the Science Collaboration: Immersion, Inquiry, Innovation project participants actively engaged in scientific research. This documentary recently received the Platinum-Best of Show Aurora Award in the Educational Documentary category. The Aurora Awards is an international competition that recognizes excellence in the film and video industries and the FloridaLearns Academy and the Florida Education Channel were honored by the recognition.

This award winning documentary was completed over the summer of 2008. It is being broadcast over the Florida Education Channel (Dish Network, 61.5 Channel 9418) and is available online (http://www.paec-sc-iii.org/realscience.htm) and on DVD through the FloridaLearns Clearinghouse.
