WANTED:
Companies/Agencies/Organizations in Florida willing to provide a professional experience during summer, 2009, for one or more of Florida’s Pre-K through 12th grade science teachers.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
The professional experience should be a work experience, through which a science teacher may gain industry knowledge about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) applications, career pathways and workforce expectations.
DATES:
June - August 2009 (to be determined by partner organization)
ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS:
Science Teachers, presently teaching in Florida and possessing a current Florida teaching certificate.
WORKPLACE INFORMATION AVAILABILITY:
The Panhandle Area Educational Consortium (PAEC) will provide a database, accessible to teachers, where the professional experience offered by each organization may be detailed.
